The year is coming to a close and I’ve watched some excellent dramas with some excellent soundtracks. As a way to take us all the way to the end I’ve listed my favourite OSTs from 2018.

10. Cherry Blossom Love by Chen | 100 Days my Prince
The soundtrack is as magical asย 100 Days my Prince, particularly the beginning, takes you back to the Joseon Dynasty.
9. Always You by leeSA | A Korean Odyssey (Hwayugi)
Like A Korean Odyssey is similar to Goblin: the Great and Lonely, this soundtrack is eerily similar to Stay With Me by CHANYEOL. Do you agree?
8. Love Virus by Kihyun (MONSTA X, SEOLA (WJSN) | What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim
This is happy/upbeat soundtrack perfectly encapsulates the tempo of What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim and is the type of song I would play while making dinner ๐
7. I’ll Be Fine by Suran | A Korean Odyssey (Hwayugi)
This is another sad number from A Korean Odyssey. Very sad but very moving.
6. Becoming the Wind by Hyunsang Ha | Mr Sunshine
The Mr Sunshine soundtrack was probably my favourite thing about the drama. This track was poignant and is perfect for when you are feeling a little sombre (with my favourite bit at 3:06 mins).
5. Mr Chu by Apink | My ID is Gangnam Beauty
This track also features in What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim and is the cutesy dance number โค๏ธ
4. AND I by NU’EST W | Mr Sunshine
Although this was another muted track from Mr Sunshine, it sightly differed (to the other OSTs) as it left me feeling hopeful rather down.
3. New Face by Psy |My ID is Gangnam Beauty
I have to admit that I only enjoyed this song after watching Kang Mi-rae rock her moves in Episode 1 ๐๐ฝ. After that though, I was hooked!
2. Sori by Lee Suhyun | Mr Sunshine
This delicately sung track incredibly beautifully encapsulated the essence of Mr Sunshine.
1. Epiphany by BTS | My ID is Gangnam Beauty
My #1 track is by none other than BTS. Although I did not actually hear it being played while watching the drama, it is part of the OST My ID is Gangnam Beauty on spotify and that was good enough for me!
Dramapearls 
Two videos of Gangnam beauty other than new face are unavailable. I never heard track by BTS in GB. My favourites are Something in your eyes and D-Day. And I didn’t actually notice any of the osts in kdramas that I watched this year. I also liked one playing in about time (it’s was by a female singer and had rap?I searched but couldn’t find it. Thanks for your list. (Also, it’s a request that I want to make to all everyone here who post about kdramas osts & k-pop songs) Along with he I individual link of respective osts please make a playlist of all songs in the post and link it in the bottom of the post so people like me could save it on YouTube and watch later. Sometimes it’s difficult to play in WordPress app and not possible to listen to full song here. ) Thank you for your list. I will listen again leisure time and let you know my new favs.

omg ive never come across a bts track in a kdrama before and this got me all excited!I love the ost of whats wrong with secretary kim as well, although ive never watched the drama haha!Love this xx

Definitely give What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim a go – its the cutest drama. And My ID is Gangnam Beauty is full of a really great soundtracks – highly recommend it!
